Privacy Policy
Last Bite Standing (“the app”) is a game for deciding where to eat. It is made by Anthony Hugershoff, operating as Stone-Bruckner Group (“we”). This policy explains what the app collects and why.
What we collect
- Location. When you host or deal a table, the app sends your device location (or the ZIP code you type) to find restaurants near you. The table stores that location so everyone at it gets the same restaurants. We don’t track your location in the background.
- Account details. If you create an account: your email address and a password (stored only as a secure hash by our authentication provider). Guests play with an anonymous account and give no email.
- Profile. Your table name, your friend code, your cravings and must-haves, and a profile photo if you add one. Your name and photo are visible to players at your tables and to your friends.
- Gameplay. Tables you join, the cards dealt, your picks and burns, scores, friends and head-to-head records.
- Notifications. If you allow notifications, a push token so friends can invite you to tables. You can turn invites off in Account.
- Safety. Reports you file and players you block.
What we don’t do
No ads, no tracking across other apps or websites, no selling or sharing your personal data for advertising.
Who processes data for us
- Supabase: database, sign-in and photo storage.
- Cloudflare: the app’s server.
- Apple Maps, Google Maps Platform and OpenStreetMap: restaurant search. We send them a location and search terms, not your identity.
- Expo: delivering push notifications.
- Resend: sending account emails (confirmations, password resets).
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account exists. Delete your account in the app (Account → Delete account) and your profile, photo, friends, scores and push tokens are erased. Reports you filed are kept without your name so we can finish reviewing them. Guest data stays on the guest account until you delete it or the app.
Your choices and rights
You can view and change your profile, turn off notifications, remove your photo, block players and delete your account at any time in the app. You can also email us to ask for a copy of your data or for deletion. Depending on where you live (for example California or the EU/UK), you may have further rights to access, correct, delete or move your data; email us and we’ll respond within 30 days.
Children
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has an account, email us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update the date above and, for big changes, tell you in the app.
